The online application available through this site is for the Title IV-E Public Child Welfare Education Program for BSW and MSW students in the State of Georgia. You must apply for admission to the schools of social work prior to submitting a Title IV-E stipend application. This application requires personal information, three (3) professional references with telephone numbers, eight responses to several short-answer questions, and, for current DFCS employees, State Employee ID, current merit system position title, and initial start date with DFCS.
All information requested in this application is required for submission. You are encouraged to consider your responses to the eight required questions. These responses are considered in the selection process.
There will be a review screen once all required information is completed so that you may review, and print, your application prior to submission. This application will be submitted to all schools checked on the application.
Prior to accessing the application, you will be required to register for an account. If you don’t already have an Employee ID, a temporary ID will be created for you during the registration process. It is important that you record this information in order to access your application progress and change or update your contact information through your account profile. Note: For current DFCS employees, your Employee ID is your User ID.
Please refer to the Title IV-E Program Fact Sheet for all steps in the application and selection process.
